1 / 4Al Dhaid Fort
đ Hay Al Sharee'ah, Sharjah
Well-preserved fort museum in Al Dhaid with free admission, wheelchair access, and informative displays on UAE regional history. Features a dress-up photo corner with prehistoric costumes and a rooftop with views over the surrounding area.
A nice little fort but given it's history, I was a bit surprised there wasn't more? Maybe it was just me, but somehow I was expecting more. It is an interesting little fort with nicely laid out information, and the palm grove opposite is amazing! I enjoyed taking my daughter to both
đ Family Action Verdict
Best as a half-day cultural outing for families already exploring the Sharjah interior or making the Al Dhaid farm market circuit. Free entry removes the cost barrier entirely. Children engage most with the dress-up corner and rooftop â the historical displays are better suited to school-age children and adults.

âI recently visited Al Dhaid Fort in Sharjah, and it was a great experience organized by Travel Indigenous Company. The fort is a small but interesting museum that shows the history of the city. I also visited the nearby Palm Oasis, which made the trip even better. The guides were very friendly and gave helpful information. Travel Indigenous Company did an amazing job. If you want to try sustainable tourism in the UAE or Oman, they are the perfect choice! Ų ŲاŲ ØŦŲ ŲŲ ØŦداâ
