It's a very nice and huge family park for everyone to use freely, we visit there sometimes when we have a GT with kids so they can play freely while we enjoy and eat together, please note that BBQ is not allowed but other than that there are two play areas with rides for kids to play, more than enough area for kids to play football, badminton or volleyball and also a big walking track. Right next to the park Safia Masjid is located which is pretty big to accommodate a huge number of worshippers.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with young children seeking free outdoor play and space for group gatherings or birthday celebrations. The dual playground layout suits toddlers and primary-school-age kids simultaneously. Active adults and joggers get genuine value from the track network.

There is a runway for sports, which is also very suitable for family gatherings. We chose this place for my daughter's birthday. Everyone had a good time. There are free parking spaces and open lawns. Many people go there on Friday, and there are enough places, which is very suitable for family gatherings.

I visit Safia Park every day for jogging, and it has become one of my favorite places to relax and stay active. The park has a clean and smooth jogging track that is 1,500 meters long. There’s also a longer, scenic 4,500-meter track that goes around the mangroves, offering beautiful views of the water and nature. A dedicated cycle track also runs along the 4,500-meter route, perfect for cycling lovers. One of the best things about Safia Park is that it's located outside the city. That means you can enjoy wide-open views of the sky with no tall buildings around, which makes the place feel peaceful and open. The park is well-maintained, with clean walking paths and green lawns. There is plenty of free parking inside and around the park. You can also rent bicycles, four-wheel pedal bikes, and even small electric cars for young children to ride. For fitness fans, the park has some basic outdoor exercise machines. There are also vending machines for water, drinks, and snacks like chocolate, which is very convenient. At night, one part of the grassy area is lit up with hanging string lights, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. There’s also a children’s play area with slides and other fun activities for kids. The park is family-friendly and usually calm, although it can get a bit crowded on weekends. Many families come to enjoy small celebrations, dinner, or snacks together in the open spaces. Overall, Safia Park is a great spot for jogging, walking, cycling, weekend picnics, or simply enjoying nature. I highly recommend it to families, fitness lovers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the city.

Al Safia Park gives families a genuinely large outdoor space at no cost. Two separate play areas with swings, slides, and rides keep younger children occupied as open lawns accommodate football, volleyball, and badminton. The 1,500m jogging track is smooth and well-maintained; a longer 4,500m route circles the adjacent mangroves with waterway views. Picnic areas are well-used on Fridays and weekends. BBQ is not permitted. Free parking is available throughout.
