A Must-Visit Gem: The Quran Museum If there’s one place you absolutely must experience, it’s this breathtaking Quran museum. It beautifully preserves priceless artifacts related to the Quran, and is easily one of the most stunning and thoughtfully designed modern museums I’ve ever seen. From the moment you step inside, it feels as though you’ve entered a palace — modern, pristine, serene, and filled with a deep sense of peace and reverence. Every detail has been crafted to enhance your experience and connection to the history of the Quran. The museum is thoughtfully organized into seven different rooms, each offering a unique glimpse into the Quran’s incredible journey. You’ll see how the Quran was preserved during the time of its revelation to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and learn about the early materials used — from animal bones and skins to tree bark. You’ll also explore how the Quran was written, preserved, and revered across different regions of the world. What made the visit truly unforgettable was the exceptional guidance of Mr. Khalid, whose deep knowledge and passionate storytelling brought every exhibit to life. His insights offered invaluable lessons that enriched our understanding of the Quran’s history in ways no book or documentary could. I would return to this museum again and again — not just for the beauty and history it holds, but for the profound learning it offers. May Allah (SWT) reward Mr. Khalid abundantly for his dedicated service and for sharing such precious and priceless knowledge with us. May the light of the Quran continue to shine through hearts and generations.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking a meaningful, free cultural visit in Sharjah with children aged 6 and above who can engage with manuscript displays and guided room-by-room exploration. The peaceful atmosphere and continuous Quran recitation make it a genuinely distinct experience from standard museum visits.

“It's a palace dedicated to the Quran - I'm so proud of Sharjah's leadership for establishing this centre. We loved every museum room. The quality is outstanding. The kiswa room blew us away. The qurra room was also very special. My only request to the management would be to add English translations to all Arabic description cards. The staff were very helpful and friendly as well. And it's completely free!”

“You can reserve a visit through the digital sharjah app (free). It's a calm place with quran recitation going on in the background. There are different quran museums inside, which you can visit. Only one is currently translated to english, but the translation work for others is going on.”
