1 / 3JVC Castle Park
đ Al Barsha South Fourth, Dubai
Best for kids over 2 or 3 who love climbing and slides. The central castle is the star, with a big sand pit and grass to run around - but come in the evening, because there's no daytime shade.
Lovely park with amazing play opportunities for children all ages. Huge sand pit with surrounding grass; play equipment on sand and grass is great for playing ball, blowing bubbles or just running around! The castle is beautiful! Has 3 slides inside, stairs, a blue climbing frame for slightly older children and XO game. Area is covered so great on sunny day. Busy afternoons after school and nursery. Offer nice walk-around too on paved area where children can draw with chalk âĄ
đ Family Action Verdict
If you've got kids over 2 or 3 who love climbing and slides, the castle here is genuinely the star, and there's tons of sand and grass to run around on. Just go in the evening when it's lit up and cooler, because parents are clear there's no shade in the daytime and you'll bake.

âFull Park illuminated with lighting strings. Beautiful view and ample play area, sand pits and huge Castle at the centre of park is simply stunning. Kids enjoyed the evening.â

âIt is a very good place to take your children or your pets, but only at night because during the day there is no shade to rest and you will get sunburned, anyway at night there are many children and people exercising and pets, so it makes a very good environment. It is a good idea to bring a sheet to rest on the grass while your children play, don't forget the mosquito repellentâ

âThe castle slides are nice enough, but for a park as big as this, you can expect to see more. Not suitable for less than 2-3 years old kids. Would be nice to add picnic area next to it.â

Overview
The castle at the centre is the real draw here, with slides that keep climbing-obsessed kids busy and a huge sand pit ringed by grass for ball games and bubbles. There's a covered play area and it's pram-friendly, best suited to kids over 2 or 3. Parents are unanimous on one thing: come at night, when the whole park glows with string lights and the crowds turn up, because the daytime sun is relentless with nowhere to hide.
