1 / 3Light and Peace Museum
π Al Rawdah, Abu Dhabi
Basement museum at SZGM in Abu Dhabi dedicated to the holy mosques of Makkah, Madinah, and Jerusalem, featuring archaeological artefacts, immersive tech displays, and a dedicated interactive family area for children aged 5 and above.
A relatively small but interesting museum at the basement of SZGM, well designed & with excellent lighting. The main room is dedicated to the 3 holy mosques of Islam (Jerusalem, Madinah & Makkah). Also exhibits some artifacts of archaeological value. You can tour in no more than 30-40β. Entrance fee: AED 25 (free for seniors).
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and above interested in Islamic heritage and history. The interactive family zone makes it genuinely engaging for younger visitors rather than a passive walk-through. Allow at least 90 minutes β the immersive technology draws longer engagement than the space suggests.
