1 / 2Mangrove Beach
📍 Al Neefah, Umm Al-Quwain
Coastal reserve in Al Neefah with sandy beach, kayak rentals through mangrove channels, playground equipment, overnight camping, and a café. Entry fee waived with minimum food spend.
I recently visited Mangrove Beach and had a fantastic experience! The natural beauty, with its lush mangroves and clear blue waters, offers a peaceful retreat. The beach is well-kept with soft sand perfect for lounging, and the water is great for swimming and snorkeling. The serene atmosphere makes it ideal for relaxation, and the friendly locals are always helpful. I highly recommend Mangrove Beach for anyone looking to enjoy nature and tranquility, I hardly recommend visiting this place and bring kids with you if you are family , it’s amazing and you gonna love
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4+ who want a full-day or overnight nature experience beyond a standard beach visit. Kayaking through mangroves is a hands-on nature activity unavailable at most UAE coastal spots. The entry fee structure rewards families who plan to eat on site.

“I will give a 5* rating to the beach area and 3* rating for the camping ground. All in all its a good place for family and friends especially the beach area. They have a nice and quiet sanctuary kind of setup with rentable kayaks so you can padddle between the mangroves. There is also a low-key/ discreet cinema setup on water which looks great but we did not have time to experience. Perhaps another time. *We moved there during the day after packing our tent from the zone 3 camping ground witch we paid 111Aed so we could set up the tent and camp the night before. The price is ok but very noisy and toilet is badly maintained (See more details under the camping area review)”

“Best place for hanging out with family and friends. Off-road areas are also available. Night stay and charcoal setup places are provided. Many water activities to enjoy as well. Entry fee is 40 AED, but if you purchase food worth 60 AED, the entry fee is waived. Highly recommended for a fun day out.”

“Hired car from Dubai to do some exploring. Mangrove Beach was an amazing location. Stopped for morning coffee and a snack. Found out more about the mangroves plus the accommodation options. A place to return to to escape! About an hour from Dubai and a different world.”

Overview
Mangrove Beach in Umm Al Quwain combines a clean sandy beach with a mangrove ecosystem accessible by rentable kayak. Families can paddle through shaded mangrove channels or swim in clear shallow water. A playground with swings anchors the beach area for younger children. Overnight camping is available with designated charcoal areas. The on-site café serves food and drink — spending the minimum food amount waives the entry fee entirely. The drive from Dubai takes approximately one hour.
