“We had a fantastic visit to Umm Al Quwain Zoo and truly enjoyed every moment. The entry fee is only 25 AED for ages 1 year and above, which is very affordable for such a great experience. What makes this zoo special is the active interaction with the animals. It’s not just about looking — you can get close, engage, and really enjoy seeing the animals in a fun and memorable way, especially for children. It makes the visit exciting and different from traditional zoos. The place is well-organized, family-friendly, and perfect for a day out with kids. “An amazing and one of the best zoos to visit in the UAE if you want to see a huge variety of active animals in one place. The collection includes lions, tigers, panthers, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, white tigers, white lions, giraffes, deer, antelope, sheep, goats, cows, horses, various species of monkeys, birds, bears, flamingos, rabbits, turtles, crocodiles, and much more. It’s fun to watch the animals up close, feed them, and observe their behavior. A very good learning and exploring experience, especially for kids. Awesome moments to capture in photos. The ticket price is very reasonable—25 AED for anyone above 1 year of age. The zoo is well maintained, with friendly and hardworking staff. Free parking is available with ample space. The best time to visit is early morning, starting at 8 a.m., as many animals are less active or not visible by evening. There is a restaurant offering good food; however, there are no restrictions on bringing your own food. No free drinking water is available, so it’s better to bring water bottles. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, an amazing experience and a must-visit place.”

“Had a really good experience at the Zoo of Umm Al Quwain. The place is well maintained and enjoyable, especially for families. Lemur feeding was a great experience, and there are many animals that you can feed, which makes the visit more interactive. If you want to explore the bird section, you need to buy a horse ride ticket. With the horse ride, you get free access to the bird area and can feed the birds as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience and definitely worth visiting.”
