1 / 4Al Nahda Park
📍 Al Nahda First, Sharjah
Al Nahda Park is a community park in central Al Nahda with swings, slides, basketball and volleyball courts, walking tracks, and green picnic lawns. An annual pass is required — bring tenancy contract and Emirates ID.
Al Nahda Park is a great place for families and children to relax and have fun. Located in the center of Al Nahda and surrounded by residential buildings, it’s a convenient spot for everyone in the area. The park offers a variety of facilities, making it a popular choice for residents. There’s a dedicated play area for kids with swings and rides, though some of them are in need of maintenance. Adults and teens can enjoy playing football or basketball in the designated courts, while fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the jogging track and the basic gym equipment installed in the park. The park also has plenty of greenery, seating areas, and open spaces, which makes it a nice spot to unwind or spend quality time with family. A new addition is the winter market, which has made the park even more lively. You’ll find food stalls offering delicious snacks and games for children, adding an extra layer of fun for visitors. However, the park can get very crowded, especially near the kids' play area and on weekends. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for kids, families, and anyone looking for a bit of outdoor activity.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for Al Nahda residents who can obtain the annual pass and use the park regularly. Friday free-entry makes it accessible for one-off family visits from outside the area. Families wanting sports court access should arrive early — basketball courts fill with regular players during peak evening hours.
