1 / 5Pygmy Zoo
π Aloawayen Suburb, Sharjah
A compact, well-organized mini zoo showcasing native Arabian animals and birds with playground facilities.
A small and well organized mini zoo that is truly beautiful and enjoyable. Itβs suitable for all ages children and adults alike. The zoo features animals native to the Arabian Peninsula such as camels, horses, sheep, Arabian oryx, gazelles, cows, Arabian ibex, donkeys, and more. It also includes a variety of birds like ostriches, peacocks, chickens, pigeons, macaws, and others. There is a food truck offering quick snacks with comfortable seating areas (fries, different types of tea, bread, luqaimat traditional Emirati desserts βetc.). The facility has very clean restrooms for both genders, a stage for childrenβs shows, a paid play area, and another free play area. The staff are extremely friendly, especially with children. Entrance tickets cost AED 20 for adults and AED 15 for children, including unlimited time for exploring and taking pictures. I highly recommend visiting this place to enjoy quality time away from technology and mobile devices.
π Family Action Verdict
A charming small zoo perfect for introducing children to Arabian Peninsula wildlife in a manageable, family-friendly setting.
