1 / 5West Yas Skatepark
π Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
Free outdoor skatepark on Yas Island open to skateboards, scooters and bicycles. Wheelchair accessible. Early morning sessions are significantly quieter and safer than evening peak periods.
Incredible skatepark even if full of ill behaved children who have never seen a skateboard in their lives
π Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 5 to 12 who are learning to skate or scoot in a free, open environment. Morning visits deliver a noticeably different experience from evening sessions β less crowded, safer, and more manageable for parents supervising beginners.

βGood skate park. You get a lot of kids, so most of the time it is important to play safe. It looks like quite a few of the kids (maybe their parents) do not really know the skate park etiquette, so you get kids with electric cars roaming around and similar. Long story short, great if you are bringing kids to play, but be careful if you are trying to go as an adultβ

βHigh quality, low visitors at day, but at night, it gains about 30-40 people. It also gets dangerous at night since itβs crowded and many people will crash or have accidents. A monitor should be there to avoid these collisionβ

βThis skatepark is a decent place to ride and it feels safe to visit, especially early in the morning between 5amβ10am or late at night after 11pm when itβs quiet and not crowded. The space is mainly meant for skateboards, bicycles, and scooters, so anyone can use it. However, the ground is not clean. Thereβs rubbish, track marks, and sometimes the floor gets slippery. Because of this, itβs important to check your tires before riding β the slippery patches can make you lose balance if youβre not careful. With better cleaning and maintenance, this skatepark could be much better. But overall, itβs still a safe place to practice if you come at the right times and pay attention to the floor.β
