1 / 5Butterfly Park
π Al Majaz 1 - Al Majaz, Sharjah
Small butterfly enclosure on Al Noor Island where children can get close to butterflies and watch them land on their hands.
The Butterfly Park is very small, lucky when we entered there weren't anyone inside and we took our leisure time with kids enjoying with butterflies and painting. All ages enjoyed. Wheelchair accessible with some narrow ways due to maintenance but manageable.
π Family Action Verdict
Perfect for a short, magical experience where young children can safely interact with live butterflies.

βAnother hidden gem. Rare place where we can see butterflies that close, and even touch them. Butterflies are extremely friendly, and it's easy to get them on ur hands and make nice pics. It's a bit humid and hot inside cuz butterflies are cold-blooded, so they need a warm environment to stay active and fly easily. The high humidity protects their very delicate wingsπ¦ Ans I'd like to appreciate Andrew, who worked there for interesting and knowledgeable chat. Highly recommend to visit thebplace to enjoy the nature and get piece of mind πβ

βDecided that it was an appropriate day to take my daughter to visit the Butterfly Park in Sharjah. The weather was pleasant and a perfect outing idea. Arrived around 11 am. on a Sunday morning and very few visitors. I expected it to be busier but to our surprise there were very few people. When you enter the park, there is a big map guiding you in all directions, mentioning the highlights and landmarks. We decided to head straight towards the park area with butterflies. Upon entering, my daughter met a lot of beautifully colored butterflies, but her favorites were 'Sticky' because he stayed with her and followed her around while she walked. Another was 'Honey-bee' as it was yellow and it also liked her. Lastly, 'Sloth'. My daughter simply thought Sloth was a nice name. So it was a relatively small enclosure, but it had hundreds of little and bigger butterflies all over. They would fly around us and often land on us. The carers would lay orange slices around for the butterflies to nibble on, and while the butterflies licked up the nectar, we were able to pick them up. All in all, it was a nice experience. There was a coffee shop there, but we didn't try it. We walked around the park for around an hour, exploring nature and beautiful trees and vegetation. We liked the bench swing on the right side of the island, which had a beautiful view of the water, sky, and skyline buildings. It had a fun area for kids in the center of the island, which was like a large jungle gym. My daughter managed to complete the course and was quite happy with herself. It was strong and well built. No safety issues at all. I would highly recommend this place if you enjoy nature and just want a calm experience.β

βmy recent experience at the Butterfly Park in Sharjah. While itβs comparatively small and doesnβt have a huge number of butterflies, the location makes it worth the visit. The park is situated on a small island, which offers a stunning view of the Corniche area. Itβs really beautiful, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. You can stroll around and enjoy the sights, and even though the butterfly collection isnβt extensive, the ones they have are quite lovely. Itβs a great spot if you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. If youβre in the mood for a quick getaway, Iβd definitely recommend checking it out.β

Overview
Located on Al Noor Island, this intimate butterfly park lets children experience butterflies up close in a controlled environment. Kids can watch butterflies land on their hands and learn about their lifecycle from caterpillar to butterfly. The park is part of a larger island experience with gardens, art installations, and waterfront views of Sharjah's skyline.
