1 / 3Dubai Ferry
📍 Al Souq Al Kabeer, Dubai
A scenic, easygoing way to see Dubai from the water. Best for kids who can settle in for the near two-hour trip - time it for the evening when the city lights and Ain Dubai come on.
My family and I recently took the 6 PM Dubai Ferry from Al Ghubaiba to Bluewaters, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. 🌇 departed exactly at 6:00 PM from Al Ghubaiba, arrived at Bluewaters around 7:55 PM, giving us just enough time to enjoy an early dinner and catch the lights of Ain Dubai, cruising through the Dubai Water Canal, passing iconic sights like the canal, Marina skyline, and open sea vistas near Bluewaters, Overall, it was a smooth, scenic, and memorable ride. If you want to enjoy Dubai’s breathtaking skyline, unwind along the waterways, and end the trip at Bluewaters’ vibrant waterfront, this ferry ride is a perfect choice!

“The ferry ride is by far one of the best experiences I had in Dubai! I recommend the last trip, that happens when it’s already going dark, this allows you to see the Dubai lights from the sea, in all their Majestic glory! If you’re in Dubai for a visit, this breathtaking experience is a must! Book Ferry tickets for the whole ride, not just half of it and enjoy the view! It’s really really worth it!”

“Most people confused this station with the Water-bus station to cross the creek. This is the Ferry Station that makes sightseeing along the creek and also until Dubai Marina Ferry Station. The former takes at least one hour and is the most wonderful ride to be taken in Dubai and really affordable price! Worth to do it!”

“A must do when visiting dubai, we took the one hour return trip for AED50/person. Worth the money, you go out to the tip up Palm Jumeira and return. They have minimum of 12 people requirement for service to run and we had 13 on the boat. The videos and pictures in this review says it all, enjoy ☺️”

Overview
The evening run from Al Ghubaiba is the one to book: the roughly hour-and-fifty-minute route glides under Infinity Bridge, past the tip of Palm Jumeirah and out toward Bluewaters just as the city lights flick on. It's great value and refreshingly low-key, so if your kids are the sort who can sit and watch the shoreline slide by, they'll be rewarded with Ain Dubai lighting up at the far end.
